Saturday & Sunday - Family Cinco Time I love spending time with my fam, thought I don’t get to as often as I’d like because I’m so busy with work, running, friends, and of course the beau. So I spend the weekend with them and left for work from LI this morning. We were able to get in quality time shopping at Kohl’s (thanks for the new running socks mom!), getting good pizza, talking to my dad about his plans for his coy pond, shopping for new books and clothes for mom, getting steaks and margs at Outback, eating Dad’s home cooked Trinidadian breakfast and mom’s dinner.  So much bonding in such a little bit of time. It was also good on the budget, as all I need to do was buy a ticket back and forth. I decide to leave on Monday morning when I would have needed a peak ticket on the LIRR, but the nice conductor just let me go. Fabulous start to a Monday. It made it so pleasant to read on the train after that. Thanks Liz for letting me borrow your Kindle :)  Great weekend in the burbs. Can’t wait to move back for the summer.
